Chambermaid cleans rooms or public places in hotels. They work 5-6 days a week on average (including weekends).

Daily working time – 7:30 – 16:00 (8 hours) – rooms must be handed to a hotel
16:30 latest.
– Chambermaid is paid according to number of rooms cleaned.
– We are looking for a long-term employees interested in these jobs.
– We provide accommodation
– The Chambermaid may not be educated but needs to be physically and
mentally fit. She must comprehend the tasks fast and is resilient.
– There are seasons in this job.
Salary employment:
– Appx 800 – 1000 EUR/netto per month
– Employer pays social and health insurance.
– Self-employment – temporary solution – 1000-1400 EUR/month – must pay
health and social insurance.

Types of accomodations and expected costs:
Flats:
– 3 room flat – 2 persons in room, appx 180 – 250 EUR/person a month
– 2 room flat – 2 persons in room, appx 200 – 250 EUR/person a month
– Dormitory – 2 persons per room, appx 200 – 250 EUR/person a month
Costs:
– Travel expenses – 36 EUR/month – prepaid city bus ticket
– Food – appx 100-150 EUR/month
Hotel Standards
Cleaning of hotel rooms according to hotel standards:
– hoovering,
– dusting,
– cleaning of toilets and bathrooms,
– bedsheets changing,
– cleaning of dustbins,
– other tasks related with cleaning.

REQUIREMENTS

Physical fitness – ability to handle high workloads
Medical fitness – No health problems hindering physical work – Prevention of injuries,
prevention of overload
Flexibility – working in multiple hotels, willingness to learn in different ways of
cleaning in hotels
Time flexibility – willingness to even work during weekends and holidays
A clean extract from the criminal record – any suspicion that it may lead to theft,
inappropriate behavior and disposition is unacceptable. Any possibility of alcoholism,
stealing, etc. is not acceptable
Hygiene – Women must meet basic hygienic habits – care for themselves
Sensitivity and understanding – a woman must be receptive and learn tasks quickly.
She must know how to manager her time cleaning to make it effective, and so on.

Other prerequisites:

– The sense of order
– Ability to work fast and persevering
– Work experience is a plus, but it is not necessary
– Good behavior
It is possible to earn more money for working other cleaning jobs in the evenings, but
it is not guaranteed.

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation is provided on apartments within Bratislava. The apartments are
furnished with kitchen, bathroom, washing machine, toilet, internet and sometimes
TV.
3 room apartments are available. 2-3 people live in each room. Couples can go
accommodate some smaller rooms.

Summary
Maid work is carried out in a pleasant and nice workplace. Work is physically
demanding but manageable. It is important to be aware of both the quality of cleaning
and the tempo.
Food is provided regularly at work. In addition to this work, they are can work
overtimes in evenings or on free days. There may also clean public spaces where
wages are comparable to the Chambermaid.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE FOR OUR SERVICES?
Payment for the mandatory medical examination of a foreigner (after the issuance of a
PP card) – €150
Fee for filing an application for temporary residence at the relevant embassy abroad
Arranging and official translation of a criminal record extract from a country other
than the home country (required when a foreigner has been in a country other than
their home country for more than 90 days, in the last 3 years) – €20 / standard page in
English
